Good stiff blade

I chose this blade because I wanted something a bit higher quality and stiffer than my "starter" blade(the standard non-FIE sTm blade from the Fencing Post).
BF is considered the gold standard in Europe from my research, and I am very satisfied. As usual, The Fencing Post gave me a good price and very fast shipping. :-)

The blade is very stiff and a bit heavy. No flicking here. Some people don't like a blade this stiff, but the point control I get with it is excellent. The tip goes exactly where I want, with no delay.

The one issue I had was a faulty contact spring. It stopped registering hits after only a few bouts. I think this was just a fluke, and it was an easy fix with some help from the club armorer.

I just ordered a second one, and plan to use them as my regular competition blades.
