a solid option compared to steel and aluminum

Bought this on a lark to see what the difference is with the more standard aluminum and steel offerings, and it's certainly a solid guard. For a weight similar to a standard aluminum, it can take far more punishment, with some hits which have dented or gouged aluminum bells simply leaving scratches. The nice matte finish will not last with heavy use of course, but that's to be expected.
