This socket is made in accordance with the FIE demand for épée sockets to have two separate channels to pass the wires through. The socket is the same old Allstar socket in which each terminal has a hole next to it. It is a good quality socket; it is legal and it works. I would say that the holes are a little too close to the terminals, but that’s not a deal breaker.
