Defective Manufacturing

I highly suggest staying away from these epee wires. With over 30 years of experience wiring epee blades, these wires are defective (at this time) and I should have sent them back immediately rather than using 8 of them to get one functional blade.
The defect, the wire pins (the metal part that sits in the wire cup) connected to the wires do not fit snug in the cup. All 8 had at least one pin that was very loose and some had both pins loose. To make matters worse, the insulation on the loose pins was also slightly incomplete at the wire/pin connection that causes grounding issues with the blade and therefore the guard, making the weapon unusable.

I highly suggest that The Fencing Post remove these wires from the sight and send all of them back to FWF for a refund or replacements of non defective wires. Sorry FWF but you've lost a customer.
