  1. A great grip for foil and epee fencing! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Mar 2015

In a first view, the Linea Pro Dragon Plus is a well designed grip, both for foil and epee fencing, mixing Visconti grip and Palm grip design for a confortable sword handle. Its size is confortable for people with big hands, but it can also make fencing handwork confortable for people with small hands (I can say it very well, my hands are small enough to feel the Dragon Plus like it were a XL Visconti grip!). By comparing this grip with Visconti's and Belgian grips, which have been used by my hand until now, the Dragon Plus has the advantage of letting the wrist to move more freely than using Visconti's and Belgian grips, so attacking, defending and counterattacks get a better service with less pain and less effort. A thing which is compulsory to know: Dragon Plus grip (and also the normal version, I think) fits well on a 2.5-2.75 inches blade tang, so take it into account if you want to have this grip installed on your foil/epee. With a valid redundance, this grip is very grippy, so it gives a great service using both washable polyephylene/polyamid and leather gloves. The last thing: Dragon Plus is weight-adjustable, so it works pretty well in both foil and epee (by using in foil fencing, I highly recommend installing Dragon Plus grip together with a Titanium guard, so the weapon total weight cannot exceed the regular limit). Simply enjoy the Dragon Plus!

  2. Dragon grip is great! 5 Star Review

It is just right size - sort of in-between medium and large grip. I also like that it is a bit wider then a visconti, add to that the fact that the wide palm offers great support and you have a winner! I am replacing all of my sawed off viscontis with these bad boys :)

  3. The Dragon is right to the point 5 Star Review

Have purchased both right and left hand grips with great reviews from fencers. Comfortable and secure. Would like heavier weights for greater variety.
    Service was great
