New lighter material for breathablility and comfort.
COOLMAX® fabric is the performance fabric that includes an effective fiber-based moisture management system. The system can move perspiration away from the body, and through the fabric, where it can evaporate quickly, allowing the wearer to feel cooler and more comfortable.

Excellent stretch, keeps you cool in competition

After years of polyester, we made the switch to COOLMAX(R) and it is really great for long fencing competitions. Also much more flexibility than the standard polyester jackets (can actually put arms behind body). Definitely an investment, but worth it for competitions.

The Uhlmann jacket is far better at cooling than my previous jacket from Absolute fencing. It feels quality and yet lightweight. They fit a little huskier than Allstar jackets as well which I appreciate.
