Stenciling the name on the pants is not subject to FIE size standards. We will follow lettering size standards when possible but may adjust slightly for aesthetic reasons due to seam placement. Call us if this is an issue.

Sizing is off

The sizing on the pants is way off. I'm between a 4 and 6. I had originally bought a size 40 from you which should equate to an American 10, but when I recently measured it, it came to a 4. Because I had worn and washed them, I had to purchase a 42 which should be a 12, but measures to a 6. You may want to address this so others don't have to buy 2 pairs of pants. Otherwise, great pants.

Fits, but it came with stains

I'll preface by saying that I'm a huge fan of The Fencing Post and have always been very satisfied by their service, so I'm going to assume that what happened with the pants was a fluke. Unfortunately, while the pants fit well, there were quite a few noticeable brown and yellow splotches/stains that were rather large at the waist line and on the pant legs. Thankfully they started to come out after I cleaned them for awhile, but that did dampen the experience a bit. Other than that, the pants are good quality and like the other review stated, is on the more form-fitting side.

The sizes do run a bit too form-fitting, but it fits so well after wearing them often. I'm so glad that these were my first fencing pants investment because of the excellent price and fabric.
