Was looking to replace an older pair of pants for the kiddo and this came up. Yes FIE is much higher but this will do for practice and local tournaments since I know a child's body will continue to grow. For the price and quality I think it's worth the few extra bucks. Cuffs at the legs are thick and seem like they will hold. I know the shoulder straps will not last too long since they aren't reinforced but seems like you can be easily replaced. Why don't they make it so that the system can be easily replaced? Either way, so far it's been holding up well and well the kiddo likes it too.
