these are far superior to the old screw points. They don't get dirty fast like the old screw points, easy to replace, contrary to popular assumption the plastic insulator does not damage any more than the plastic insulator on the screw points. The point shaft also slides metal against plastic which means it slides easier than the old metal against metal. In one tournament we had to fix a screw point three times in four events. Fortunately we had screwless point blades for backup. Now we have only screwless point blades. No brainer. Dump the screws
